Skip told us a better way of getting to Dayton so we aren't going through Chicago. Hope Oprah isn't disappointed.

I can't believe the luck we're having in the weather but maybe I'm speaking too soon. One more day...

We are at Jellystone camp with Yogi and the gang. They say hello to you all.

It's very quiet...afterall it's Monday and school is in session.

We crossed the Mississippi River coming into Illinois and it sure is smaller here than it was in Louisiana....but it's always exciting to see things you've read about. Alot of Pres Lincoln here as well as Carl Sandburg and even Reagan...his college.

We have met alot of nice people on our route. I guess people are nice everywhere.
