O' Canada
While waiting for a tower to be delivered to Bozeman Mt, we vacationed in B.C. Canada. We read in Highways (Good Sam mag) about the Selkirk loop.
We started in Newport Washington , crossed the border near Metaline falls. (out in no where)
It was a beautiful trip. I can believe the fact that 75% of fresh water is in Canada...there was water water everywhere. The first night we stayed in Belfour.
Lake Kootenay in Nelson, BC.
When I win the lottery, this will be the house I want to live in on some lake. Fun? (near Balfour, BC)
We crossed Kootenay Lake (huge) on a free ferry..a very modern ferry at that.
We stayed near Crawford Bay the next night.
It's a Artisan community. This is a broom Co. that made the Harry Potter quidditch brooms.
It was a great vacation. We left the loop at Bonners Ferry and headed to Montana.
